ROSENBERGS FBI FILES
178 pages of files copied from FBI Headquarters in Washington, D.C., covering Julius and Ethel Rosenberg, accused atomic bomb spies. The Rosenbergs, who were convicted of espionage on behalf of the Soviet Union; were executed on June 19, 1953, at Sing Sing Prison. The files mostly consist of a 153 page 1953 summary report, written by the FBI's Domestic Intelligence Division. The report coverage ranges from the origins of the case to Rosenbergs' funeral. |
