ROSENBERGS FBI FILES
178 pages of files copied from FBI Headquarters in Washington, D.C., and archived on CD-ROM, covering Julius and Ethel Rosenberg, accused atomic bomb spies. The Rosenbergs, who were convicted of espionage on behalf of the Soviet Union; were executed on June 19, 1953, at Sing Sing Prison. The files mostly consist of a 153 page 1953 summary report, written by the FBI's Domestic Intelligence Division. The report coverage ranges from the origins of the case to Rosenbergs' funeral. |
