570 pages of files copied from FBI Headquarters in Washington, D.C., and archived on CD-ROM covering Walt Disney. Most files date from 1954 to 1966. Files chronicle FBI's relationship with Walt Disney and Walt Disney Productions. Files show that scripts were changed on FBI request. Files show that Hoover had great concerns about the image of the FBI, as portrayed in the movie "That Darn Cat." Files indicate that Walt Disney was a Special Agent contact. Files contain approximately 500 informational pages of memos, miscellany, and newspaper articles.
